We started collecting oyster plates about 20 years ago. While it began as a result of our love for oysters, we discovered the beauty and diversity of oyster plates - from the porcelain of Germany and France to the majolica of France and England, just to name a few. We have also discovered that one does not have to like oysters in order to become a knowledgeable collector. Our buying of these wonderful plates became a passion and has turned into a fabulous collection. Our oyster plates can be seen in Delray Beach, Florida, where we keep our showcase.
