|PRICING: Please note that all prices are in US dollars.
Shipping and handling are not
|ORDER PROCESSING POLICY: After you submit your order, you
will receive a computer-generated confirmation
that your order was placed. If there are extra shipping, handling or other charges for your order,
we will let you know the amount when the order is confirmed.
If there are taxes that apply to your order, we will also let you know the amount at that time.
For glass or fragiles: USPS PRIORITY is my preferred method of shipping. However I do realize that the USPS Priority rates are getting expensive at the higher weights, and/or for long distances. Contact me if an item is heavy and you might want to consider using first class or lesser service. However, priority is the quickest, thus less likely to be in a danger zone (USPS hands) for too long.Unless otherwise stated, insurance is at your discretion, again, depending on your faith in the shipper. USPS offers online claims for damage, but you would have to handle the report since it requires the receiver to bring in ALL related material, like broken item, etc., which, obviously I don't have. In many moons of shipping glass, I have had only 2 instances of damage, BOTH related to USPS handling!
- If you are paying by check or money order, your order will be held for seven (7) days. If payment is not received within that time, the hold will be removed from the item(s) and they will be returned to stock.
- If payment is made by check, we will hold the item for you for an additional 10 to 15 days until our bank clears your check. Current applicable fees will be charged in cases of bounced checks.
- Item(s) paid for by money order are shipped See policy on transit time.
- If you are using our option for a payment service, your order will be shipped See policy on transit time.
If you order more than one item and I can combine them safely, I will. I'll likely give you a partial refund if the actual combined shipping is way out of whack with the quoted rate on your order. Although there is a statement about reduced shipping for combining items, the system does NOT make an educated automatic adjustment for a reduced shipping rate on combined items. If it does give you a rate, please email me for confirmation. The system does not realize that some items are heavy and fragile and cannot often be combined safely.
If I receive a money order, bank check, or paypal, the item will be sent quickly. For personal checks there will be a delay of only a few days for check clearance.
For books or other paper material (only), I can ship USPS Media mail which is cheaper. It is only for paper and books. Contact me for rate.
For OVERSIZED packages, more than 12" x 12" x 12" or over 80" maximum diameter, the quoted rates will NOT apply. Oversized package rates are higher and would have to be calculated on an individual basis. So wait for an email if you think something (with padded packing) would exceed these limits (ex. vases with a length of 16"). Sorry, but this is the USPS rule, not mine. :) And this site does not have a place to click automatic calculation for oversized package shipping rates! USPS recommends Parcel Post as a cheaper rate, but it takes longer to deliver.
Sorry for all the ramble, but USPS shipping has gotten a lot more complicated recently! And glass or fragile shipping requires added care.
|SALES TAX: Sales taxes (if any) are calculated based on the location to which the product is being shipped.
|OUR SHIPPING POLICY: Most items will be shipped by USPS-PriorityNoIns. We
may elect to ship by some other carrier and will notify you if that is the case. I ship only to USA and Canada.
|OUR RETURN POLICY: We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully
describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please use our question form to ask us about the item before placing
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within three (3) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund for your item(s) if returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you excluding any shipping/insurance costs for which you were responsible. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.
|OUR RESTOCKING POLICY: I charge 10% restocking ONLY for frivolous return requests, such as buyer's remorse, i.e., "I changed my mind." I am a collector, recycling some of my own collection. This is not a FT business for me. However, If I make an error in description, you will get a complete refund, including shipping costs, as long as the same item is returned in the same condition and packing as sent, within 5 days of dated receipt. I try to describe anything which might affect the value of an item.
|OUR DAMAGE POLICY: Although a careful packer, I can’t account for handling by USPS once a package is out of my hands. Minimum USPS insurance is $1.35 for up to $50 value; $2.30 for up to $100, etc. If there is damage, you must take the entire order (all contents and all original packing material) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to us for processing. Do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to us. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and you will not get reimbursed.
