The original Nelson McCoy Pottery is no longer producing. In 1925 McCoy wares included majolica jardinieres and pedestals, embossed McCoy vases in green and brown matt glazes. 1940 started McCoy production of artware, dinnerware and cookie jars. | On Sale... McCoy "Log w/Ax Planter". Marked McCoy. Mark is unusual in that it is under glaze on the end side. Very unique. It is 8" Long x 3 3/4" Tall x 4" Wide. On one side there is an ax and on the other side a saw. They are attached by a chain. In good condition with typical glaze pricks and a large glaze skip on the base. Vintage. Quantity = 1.
