Royal Doulton Dickensware 13 1/2" Charger (extra large plate) Black Backstamp contains LONG Marks plus another Black Backstamp which contains the face of Charles Dickens plus the words, "Royal Doulton Dickens-Ware. Condition appears to be very good w/a couple of under-glaze bubbles on right rim and under-glaze color skip just above the coblestones. Warman's values this Royal Doulton Charger for $250.00! | v1407rdpl | Royal Doulton Plate, "Sam Weller and Mr. Pickwick" from the Dickens E series of Rack Plates. Modeled in low relief. Produced in 1938. Green Backstamp contains LONG marks, the number "11" next to the Crown, "REG. in Australia, D5833", incised "2-B8, D" & the initial "I". Very good condition for its very old age: only a few minor glaze scratches & minor roughness around rim. Fabulous plate! Vintage. Quantity = 1... Was $179.95. | |
| v1813rdbur | Doulton Burslem Spanish Ware Ewer. Circa 1879-1902. 6 1'4" wide. Incredible and impressive in its beautiful, delicate detail with rich colors on the flowers, leaves and backgroud. Flowers and leaves have a lovely gold outline. Base, handle and rim have gilt decoration as well. Black backstamp contains "Doulton Burslem", initials HB or HDB, incised numbers X12A, incised "Doulton". Condition is extremely good with fine age crazing overall and only minor wear to guilding on handle w/1/4 line of extra glaze, tiny fleabite under base. NO cracks or hairlines that we can find. HOWEVER, (and I'm still heartbroken about this) in our move, this piece's spout tip was broken off. We do have the piece and it can be repaired easily. We do not do repairs here. So now, I must reduce the price of this treasure. Remember, it's easily repaired. The photograph shows the tip when it was perfect and can look that way again. Reduced price! Was $499.95. | |

Blue Slate Jacket, White Waistcoat and Brown Breeches are muted as were most of the oldest figures. Charlton valued him for $1400.00! Very good condition with no chips no cracks no restorations.
