Spend a relaxing afternoon sampling some of Italy’s most intriguing wines with A16 sommelier Shelley Lindgren at Book Passage. Shelley Lindgren, wine director of A16 and SPQR, was named Best Wine Director by San Francisco Wine Magazine, as well as one of the top ten sommeliers in the country by Bloomberg Markets magazine. She has taught wine classes at the Culinary Institute of America and is a wine educator at Tante Marie’s Cooking School.

Our Giving Trees for this holiday season are up at both our stores, and we hope you will help us reach our goal of providing every child in the Giving Tree Program with a book. Thanks to your generous spirit, over 1,000 children, ranging in age from infancy to 18 years, received books as gifts last year. We hope to do even better this year. We have names of children provided to us by several organizations including: Canal Community Alliance, Hospice of Marin, Human Concerns Center (Ritter House), Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Marin City Children’s Program, Marin Abused Women’s Services, Sunny Hills Children’s Garden, and West Marin Collaborative.
