This is a blue and white handled enamel strainer. It looks like a pan but has a strainer in the bottom. It does have a small hole in it as seen in the pictures. The top diameter is 6.25" and the bottom diameter is 4.5". If hung on a wall it would be 11.25" from end to end. It's a great primitive piece and the perfect accent for a cabin or country kitchen.
