From the wonderful The Hardy Boys book series written by Franklin W. Dixon and published by Grosset & Dunlap. This is book #26, 'The Phantom Freighter'. It has the desirable 'blue binding' (turquoise blue), and is a hardcover edition without dust jacket (as sold). We believe this to be a 1970s edition of this book, and has a copyright date of 1970 and white with black line pictorial inner cover pages. Book measures 5 x 7 5/8 inches.

We actually are listing many others of these hard cover "blue binding" Hardy Boys books (including multiple copies of some books). The books appear to come from different editions of this set, based on slight differences in their covers. The books are all being sold separately; you can buy the one you need to complete your collection, or several to start one!

The condition of this #26 book is an acceptable reading copy. It has been read or used and is not mint. The main problem is that the cover has a lot of wear, dirt, red & gray scuffing/marks, etc. There is edge wear and corner bumping or wear on the outside covers, and other small dirt, wear spots or rubbing including slight dirt/darkening on the outer edge pages. The inside, however, is overall nice and clean (a little bit of dirt on the inside first page, but not bad). A highly usable, reading copy.
