This is a vintage truck tire type air pressure gauge marked DILL PNEUMATIC TIRE GAUGE on the exterior. It features the two different air inlets, and a nylon (off-white) gauge stick with graduations up to 128 PSI. It measures 12 long and is in nice shape, most of the chrome plating still intact, only a few small areas where the brass is showing through. We did test this gauge on a modern valve stem, and it seals on the stem just fine, but doesn't seem to gauge correctly even though the air doesn't leak through it. Will make a nice display tool in an automotive shop, or for repair if you want to use it. It is rare to find one of these made by Dill Mfg. Co.!

This is a rare antique thread repair tool, for repairing outside threads on machine bolts or screws. The tool is hardend around the threads so you can run the screw into on of the threaded holes on the thread plate to cause damaged threads to be forces back into the same thread pattern has they once were. Not a common tool, in fact very rare in this size. The threaded holes range from around 1/16 to 3/16 , and the thread per inch appear to be standard national course threads. The tool is shaped much like a spatula so the handle give clearence in the event of a screw stud extending upward from a flat plate needing repaired, in this case the user can use the leverage of the handle without interference with the stud plate. The thread all check out good except for the largest one has some tiny chips off at the thread start point. As you can see there is also some pitting on the steel, otherwise no damage, no rust, clean. A rare thread screw plate tool!

We do note that we see no rust, however there is some minor pitting in a few small spots. This model has a clearance hole that goes throught the center of the jaw movement assemblies, so 3/32 wire can be cutter several feet into the length of wire, allowing for a good square cut. They have the fine adjustment feature in very good working order, and they have hardened jaws. There is very little wear, moves very snug on the frame. The fitted case is solid with good latches and hinges, it has some minor wear, a some small scrapes on the top, in solid condition with good velvet inside the fitted case. It is also marked on the exterior top, BROWN in gold/black lettering. A nice clean machinist tool!

This is a rare solid brass cylinder, or machine oiler! It is marked DETROIT LUBRICATOR CO. DETROIT U.S.A. on the largest part of the bulb shaped form of the exterior body. This oiler is 4.5 tall including the threaded ends as shown in the pictures, and is about 2.5 diameter at the widest point. The larger threads are 1/2-18 NPT threads with a place for a washer or gasket, and the top threads are 1/4-18 NPT threads. I don't think these are standard thread sizes, which in part leads me to believe this lubricator was made before pipe thread standardization, or special brass threads were used in this case. The larger thread is in very good shape, the smaller has some wear on it, but mostly intact. This is a cast brass oiler with a similar bulb shape inside to match the outside, with about 1/4 wall stock thickness. As you can see there are some dings and scratches on the outside brass, but overall a fairly nice finish. We are not sure what application this unit was made for, but it is rare. We do know that a similar bulb shape was used on the Henry Ford Quadricycle, first one built in the late 1800's, but the cylinder bulb oilers appear to have been made of glass in part. We are not sure if there was once a flip cap at the top, or if another section of oiler was once a part of this unusual casting. It is possible that this unit was made for a boiler system and other type of commercial plumbing applications, but no other information was found. Weight is about 3/4 pound. A rare oiler.

Irland Pipe Wrench Co. Lever Adjusting Pipe Wrench
This is a clean and rare example of a patented 10 spring loaded lever adjustable pipe wrench, marked .R_AND PIPE WRENCH CO. BOSTON MASS. U.S.A. PAT. JULY 7-SEPT.22.1903 OCT.3.1905 . This unique wrench has a lever on the handle that is spring loaded, and is basically self-adjusting after you push the lever to the handle and set the wrench in place on the pipe. The serrated jaws are in very good condition, with minimal wear noted, we do note a small casting flaw or small chip at the very end of the adjusting jaw, will not cause any use issues. We think it is a casting flaw since we had another one with the exact same flaw on it. The spring load is still plenty strong, and the lever action works great! The wrench measures 11 long, with .7 wide jaws. The handle is thick walled pipe material. Very little minor pitting is noted, no rust. The two pivot joints are in great shape, the jaw joint is very snug, the lever jaw a little looser. A nice, rare wrench! There was 3 patented asigned to this wrench, Sept. 22,1903, July 7,1905 & Oct. 3, 1905. It is also Schulz #681. A very hard to find, collectible lever action adjustable pipe wrench!
This is a nice clean 17.5 long, two speed breast drill marked CRAFTSMAN MADE IN THE U.S.A. on the crank handle, but made by GOODELL-PRATT COMPANY TOOLSMITHS GREENFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT. MAR. 31.1896 . This one has a rather unique speed selector, as you can see a wide knurled thumb wheel in the gear section area. To shift gears requires a simple movement of this wheel for slow or fast. Both speeds and all gears are in very good working condition, This is a rare and unique breast drill! We have not seen this type speed selector on any of the other Goodell-Pratt models over the years. The crank wheel is 5 diameter, but shaped differently than other models from this period, as there is an inside flat ring that rides on a ball that sets on a post off the frame, to help keep the wheel balance and running true to the gears being meshed during use. There is about 30% paint intact on the wheel, but not rusty or pitted, the frame and the breast plate have about 40% paint intact. The 3 jaw chuck is also different than most other Goodell-Pratt models from this era, is is longer, and no patent date on it, but is is spring loaded on the jaws, runs true, and has a 1/2 diameter capacity. The wood handles are intact, no cracks, minor wear, nice finish, no metal cracks or damage. This is a very rare breast drill in very good working order! As a note of interest, Millers falls took over production of this model when they bought out Goodell-Pratt around 1914, at that time this model became Millers Falls No. 99A.
Armstrong Pipe/standard Die Set W/box Threader Wrench

It includes 10 sets of adjustable dies that all fit the die wrench including this sizes in pipe dies; 1/8 , 1/4 x (2), , dies, each has a custum size guide ring that keeps the pipe or stock running true or square to the dies while threading. The standard thread dies are as follows: 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-14, 7/16-14, 1/2-13, 5/8-11, 3/4-10. Also included is two pipe handles for the threader (each are 7.0 long), one wrench, (for the bolts on the die wrench, and 9 different sized ring guides (sized to fit each die set). These die inserts are in good condition, but show wear, one of the 1/4 dies has small chips in a critical area, will be good for chasing threads, but most likely would not cut threads, the rest will cut new threads (included is 2 set, this size, so one set is in much better condition). Replacement dies for this size may be hard to find, as they are smaller in size than the much more common No. 2 size. The No. 1 dies in this set fit into a slot that is only 1 wide. The threader is marked F. ARMSTRONG BRIDGEPORT CT. 1 MADE IN U.S.A. and is in very good condition with some oil residue, but generally very clean, nice quality casting, and a unique pair of hearts cast into the wrench head near the name. These are the adjustable size type dies, that will allow the user to vary the size by about 1/32 to fit pipe to close tolarances. The latch is in good shape. The top lid is oak, and in good++ condition, not cracked, minimal warpage. All appears original, some small dings, mostly minor considering the environment this tool was used in. The box is 3.0 x 6.3 x 15.75 . A nice old, small set F. Armstrong Mfg. Co. was in business from 1875-1922 according to research. A rarely seen example of their quality small size pipe threading set! A total of 10 bits comes with this package deal to fit this screwdriver. You get various sized Phillips, slotted, square drive, and star drive bits, making this a super versatile tool package for so many of the around the house or shop projects! The screwdriver is super well made, the best grip of any of the screwdrivers that I own, and has become my personal favorite for most small projects! The ratchet feature is controlled by a rotary switch in the center of the handle, for clockwise, lock and counterclockwise positions. The handle has flats on it, so it doesn't roll off the work bench, like many of my old screwdrivers do, and that rubberized grip is the best grip I have on any tool like it. What is really nice about both of these tools it that you can put them in your work pouch and since they have tool bit storage, you don't have to get back down off the ladder to get the bit you need to install or remove that accessory. The screwdriver also has a wall bracket to hold the screwdriver and 4 of the included bits. We know you will be pleased with your purchase of these quality made tools, and we have little doubt that you will pass them along to your children and friends. Bleckmann Wing Divider 7 Inch 19th Century Antique
Offering this a very nice clean 7 long wing divider marked BlECKMANN on the side of one leg as best we can read the lightly stamped steel. This one has very little wear, nice clean metal surfaces, no rust, and has good sharp points, very good pivot joint, ready to use. We do note a few dings and scratches, but none effecting the use of the tool or any of it's features. Features the fine adjustment, all steel pivot joint. All the screws and threads are in very good shape, including the good spring for the adjustment feature. One of the nicest we have seen in this style from the mid-1800's era! We did look up the name Bleckmann in the Toolmaker's directory for the 1800's era. We found this name listed as a maker of many types of cast tools, however they apparently didn't mark their tools with a location other than U.S.A., so we don't known what city their plant was in, or dates of opperation. We can tell by the way this tool is made, that it was from the 1800's era.
Offering this nice clean 8 long wing divider marked P.S. on the side of one leg. The letters stand for PECK, STOW, AND WILCOX, the same company that had the trade mark PEXTO , that they marked on some smaller tools. This one has little wear, some light pitting noted on the legs, and has good sharp points, very good pivot joint, ready to use. Features the fine adjustment, and brass / steel pivot joint. All the screws and threads are in very good shape, including the good spring for the adjustment feature. A top quality layout tool in it's day!
This is a rare tool manufactured in the 1890's in Decatur Illinois! This brace type bit, spiral screwdriver is 20 long fully extended, 12 long closed and locked in a stationary position, without the bit in the chuck. This one is in good useable condition, with five brace type bits included, one 3/8 wide slot bit, two drill bits 1/4 , one tapered reamer, and one 3/4 counterside bit. This model has a taper ended bit brace type screwdriver tip or bit in place, the bits are removeable, and a spring loaded pin on the outside of the chuck helps to keep the bit in the chuck, and it takes a good pull to pull one out once it was secured in the chuck, works great. The tips are in good shape, and each a snug fit in it socket at the end of this screwdriver. We do note that this type of chuck is a bit bigger than most bits end stock with the taper squares at the end needing to be stocky in order to fit this chuck. I was able to find a nice selection to fit it. This driver/drill has surprizing amount of torque, and will drill the 5/16 hole in wood. The polished brass main shaft between the tip and the hardwood handle is in good condition. The chuck is marked H. MUELLER MFG. CO. DECATUR ILL. PAT. JULY 30, 1889 . Mueller was not the first to patent spiral screwdriver features, but this is a fine example of the quality of that companies workmanship! We have not seen one with these exact features in the past 10 years, considered very rare! This is a unique design with a good solid wood handle, that has some minor wear, and dings, yet still has a very nice finish on it, well attached to the brass. The spiral feature is in nice shape, has very little play, even when fully extended, it is staight and turns smoothly in the clockwise driving direction only, hence screwdriver and not undriver (as per factory design). As you are driving the screw or drilling, when you have pushed in the full amount of the spiral shaft, this tool has a clutch that allow you to pull the handle all the way back to full extended without moving the tip, now you can push it in once again. One may use this screwdriver to remove a screw, but the spiral feature is designed for driving screws, drilling clockwise only. The brass is realy nice on this one, all nicely polished, the steel is rust free. Overall a very nice clean tool. One of the few we have seen in this nice of condition!
This is a super nice Spiral push drill marked GOODELL-PRATT CO. GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 188A . It comes with a full set of 8 drill points in very good shape, and the original box in solid condition with one good end label intact. This push drill features 8 compartments on an rotary index in the handle that hold 8 drills in different sizes. There are drill point sizes marked on the side of each drill compartment on the side of the handle to help you keep your drills organized. There is all 8 different sizes of drills included with this push drill, all in very good used condition, some appear unused. This model has the rotary handle cap for drill point storage, that is spring loaded and a latch holds the cap closed or in the position of the drill you may select. All looks like new. To use: insert your choice of drills in the collet type chuck, tighten drill point in place, place drill tip on centerline, choose plane by adjusting the shaft angle of alignment, and simply push the handle end which caused the drill point to turn (and drill the same size hole as the point) as you push. Stop pushing and the spring pushes the handle to the original position, push again and again as needed to reach the desired hole depth. This is a super nice clean tool! Goodell-Pratt was purchase by Millers Falls in 1931, so this tool was made from about 1920-1931. Please note that this is a different drill point type that the Stanley or North Brothers Yankee uses. These drill points have a + shape machined on to the end that fits in the chuck of the push drill. This type drill with all 8 drill points is very rare, particularly in this nice of condition. The push drill has about 99% nickel plating intact, very minor wear, a good screw type chuck and spiral/spring, the rotary cap works smoothly. A Nice one!
This is a nice clean 14 long chrome plated pipe wrench in very good condition. It is marked BEN HUR is believed to be a Store brand of the Van Camp Hardware Co. - Indianapolis, Indiana. It has very little wear, is not damaged or bent up, a few dings on the handle area, very good knurl wheel, threads, and jaws. We don't see many chrome plated pipe wrenches, so it makes this wrench even more rare! This one has the double couter-springs, all in very good shape! A rare and collectible pipe wrench!

This is a nice clean useable machinists' or machanics' slot screwdriver with the PERFECT HANDLE or KNIFE HANDLE (as it is sometimes called). This one is marked PEXTO P.S. on the square steel shank. It is in good condition with no rust, good solid, well attached wood sections, the wood is shows a good bit of wear, dings and scratches noted, but is very solid, not cracked, no chipped off areas on the wood sections, very heavy duty. The tip is in nice shape 1/2 wide. The actual overall length is 7.6 . The steel is clean, no pitting or rust, some edge dings noted on the square shank. This type of screwdriver was designed to be used with a wrench for additional torque, so it is a good bit more heavy duty than the wood workers' type screwdrivers. Still lots of use left in this one! A fairly rare model by Peck, Stow and Wilcox, a well known quality tool maker in the U.S.A.!
