Vintage, collectible 1960's metal Tom Thumb cash register with removable sales receipt side tray, and one 25 cent plastic Tom Thumb Play Money. Register has a money drawer with four compartments. Toy register operates in this manner: When a key is pressed, a tab with the dollar amount shows up in the window. Whether one key is pressed, or all keys, the tabs will remain up until the OPEN button is pressed, the drawer opens, and is then closed again. Once the drawer is pushed closed, the tabs go back down. We did notice that the drawer needs to be shut firmly at times in order for it to catch and stay closed. The bottom of the register has its original label which reads: MFG by Western Stamping Corporation Jackson, Michigan USA Pat #3045902. This patent number was issued in 1962. Size: 8 inches tall; 7 1/2 inches long by 6 3/8 inches wide. Condition: This Tom Thumb cash register is being sold as a collectible item, and not recommended as a toy for today's children. The plastic OPEN button has wear to the top, where there is a piece of metal being exposed. This may be unsafe for small children's fingers. Register is in very good, played-with condition. It has scratches on the drawer, some paint peeling on the red, and writing on the left side of the top. (See photos).

This is a HO scale train automobile carrier car with the triple deck to hold up to 15 cars. The side is marked ATSF SHOCK CONTROL AUTO-VEYOR SANTA FE on both sides. This car is in good used condition, some minor cracked plastic issues, otherwise clean condition. We note a small crack in the top guard rail, on tiny cracked of piece on the top swivel ramp bracket, and a few of the cars are missing the clear plastic interior window glass insert, one car is slightly crushed on the roof. The wheels axles and connectors are all in great shape. This car is on of the longest we have seen at 12.3 long overall. The bottom of the car is marked by the maker BACKMANN HONG KONG . The autos appear to be 1960's models, very simple molded plastic, with basic form details, the yellow ones look like a late 60's Cadillac Eldorado.

All are in good used condition, one area of missing red/orange paint on the upper dome area, otherwise very minor wear, some light dust in hard to get places. On this model, the axles and wheels are metal, the wheels are brass with brass connectors touching the wheels, so there may have been some sort of a inside light or some electric component inside at one time since it can draw power off the track, but there is no wiring or any electric fixture inside now. There is a piece of graphics paper with passenger shapes on it on one side, but not the other in that side windows. It has very nice quality wheels, axles, and connectors. The wheels roll so much easier than most others that we have seen. All are 8.5 long overall. We have not seen another car quite like this one, rather rare!
This is a group of three different HO scale train box cars, each is a matching size circus car, same style and shape, but different graphics. One is marked P.T. BARNUM on both sides, the 2nd car is marked P.T. BARNUM , on both sides. The 3rd car is a sleeper car marked P.T. BARNUM on both sides. None of these cars are marked by the maker's name. All are in good+ used condition, no damage, very minor wear, some light dust in hard to get places, and we note that only three of the tiny black ball shaped decorations are intact, so a total of 15 of these are missing total on all three cars. We note that some of the interior tinted plastic that should be covering the windows on the gray area are missing also. On this model, the gray section lifts off reletively easy, so you can easily add balance weights are you need inside. All have very nice quality wheels, axles, and connectors. The wheels and axles are all metal, and roll so much easier than most others that we have seen. All are 8.0 long overall. These three box cars are all vintage advertising cars from the 1970's era, sold as shown in the pictures with no original boxes. The price is for all three.

Both have good wheels, axles, and connectors. Both are 6.0 long overall. This antique camel pull toy is on wheels and made of metal with a brass tone outer paint or layer. The axel is the only part that will take a magnet so are of cast iron. Dear old Teddy! He has pouting red lips, and mohair fur. He has been well played with, and is getting rather bald. Moths have attacked his lips and snout, but he has beautiful glass eyes, and the characteristic long legs of the older teddys. His growler box still emits a bit of a growl when shaken back to front. He measures 44 cm long (17.1/4 inches). All joints have swivel sockets, including his head. He needs a loving home for his twilight years.

Old Lead Toy Britains Ltd., England, Farm Animal Trough, As Is Legs
Collectible antique lead toy farm item made by Britains, Ltd., England. This is a toy trough for use with a farm animal play set or diorama or local scene for an old train set. The miniature trough is like those one would see on a farm for use in providing water or feed for pigs, cows, horses or other domesticated animals. We have indicated this is as is in the title because the 2 trough legs on one end are broken off such that one end of the trough sits directly on the ground, slanting the trough upwards to the other end which is supported still on 2 crossed legs. We have one of the broken off leg pieces as shown in some images, but the other is long gone. The trough measures 3 1/8 inches in length, about 3/4 inch in width to the trough portion and 1 inch in greatest width to the outer ends of the two legs on one side, and at the higher end sits about 3/4 inch in height. The manufacturer marking appears in raised molded letters along the underside edge of the trough, stating Made in England by Britains Ltd. This is hard to read with some letters worn, and even harder to photograph, but we guarantee this is there and what it says. We have provided 7 images to show multiple views including one in which we show part of the manufacturer marking (we had to go very close-up to try to show the letters and it would not have been readable had we tried to show the full words all in one shot). Please note that the white hot spots are reflections from the camera lighting on the metal body. The trough coloring is light tan or beige with some green paint in many spots that we think may have been done to show suggested wear or mold on the wood as would occur in real life. From the style and type of piece as well as the manufacturer marking, we believe this piece dates to the early 1900's but are not toy dealers and do not know that for certain. It is definitely an old, antique or vintage piece which came out of an older home. The toy appears to be made of a base gray diecast or molded metal which could be lead from similar pieces we've handled and seen, and the paint on the piece could also have lead in it. As such, we will only sell this piece to adult collectors, it should be handled with care, and it should not be given to children to play with due to concerns with lead exposure. Beyond the broken legs on one end, this antique toy shows much age and use wear. There is much paint chipping/wear particularly along all edges, showing the gray metal underneath. There is also an unevenness or roughness to the edges along with some tiny edge chips. Some of this may relate back to old rougher manufacturing techniques but some of this is also use wear. On the outside or underside of the trough you can see the raised lines molded into the piece likely to suggest wood planks. Someone who is handy at repairing old toys could perhaps solder the one missing leg we have back onto the piece and create another one so that it fully stands as it once did. But even without doing any repairs, this farm trough might be usuable either propped up or as is within a toy farm display, train set display or in a Christmas holiday scene display.
Tootsietoy Tootsie Toy Diecast Car Oldsmobile For Parts Orange & Black
Collectible antique TootsieToy (Tootsie Toy) die-cast toy item, an Oldsmobile passenger car. While we don't know the exact age of this car (we are not toy dealers), this is definitely one of the older Tootsie Toy cars as it has the old metal wheels. We have, however, listed this item as being for parts because it is missing one of the four wheels and has other damage to the front hood as will be explained. The collectible toy car measures 3 inches in length with the body about 1 inch in width, but the wheels present flare outwards rather than sitting straight giving this a greatest width of about 1 1/4 inches. It sits on a table with the front higher than the back due to the missing back wheel, giving it an overall height of about 3/4 inch. On the front of the car it has the molded name Oldsmobile at a slant. On the underside of the car you can see the raised molded letters for the manufacturer TootsieToy with part of the Y hidden under another piece of this car. We have provided 7 images to show multiple views including one of the manufacturer name which was very hard to photograph but you can see most of it in the image. Please note that the white hot spots are reflections from the camera lighting on the metal body. The car coloring is orange and black with a gold or bronze metal coloring on the outer wheels. The toy appears to be made of a base gray diecast or molded metal which could be lead from similar pieces we've handled and seen, and the orange and black paint on the piece could also have lead in it. As such, we will only sell this piece to adult collectors, it should be handled with care, and it should not be given to children to play with due to concerns with lead exposure. Beyond the missing wheel and the flaring of the other wheels, you can see in the image that on the front black hood close to the dashboard on one side the car has been crushed or dented in or dropped in such a way that the hood is cracked/broken in this area with the black paint gone and the gray metal showing. The orange body part is still attached and in one good piece but loose. There is obvious paint loss/wear on the orange piece particularly on the edges and in a large spot on one back bumper and a smaller spot on the other, with other expected use/wear/lines. The wheel axels are rusty with the one having the missing wheel curved/bent. The remaining wheels look in good shape but with much expected age/use wear. Someone who is handy at repairing old toys could use parts of this car for repairing other cars or might be able to fix up this one. Even without doing any repairs, this car might be usuable as is with some propping up and camouflaging within a train set display or in a Christmas holiday scene display...one could even have a figure placed near the car as if replacing a flat tire!
This attractive circa 1920 blue celluloid hinged box contains items for a baby's bath and grooming: a hairbrush, covered container for soap, pins or powder, and a rattle to keep baby occupied. It looks like there was once a comb too but it's not present. The lid swivels up with the inside holding a sweet photographic style round print of an Edwardian era mother and baby. The blue celluloid with semi-transparent butterscotch-caramel trim container is square with rounded corners, about 6-1/2 wide by less than 2 high when closed. The soft horsehair brush is 4-3/8 long, the rattle just a bit shorter. The powder box is stationery in the center but the lid comes off. Included with the bath kit is a pair of vintage blue duck diaper pins, not original but they go well with the set. The celluloid has no chips or breaks, just normal age and minor rub wear from use and storage. The litho mother and baby print attached to the inner lid has a couple of minor edge tears. There are no makers marks.

I have not seen one of these before, it actually works pretty good, a few time around the tarnish brass track, and I see a brighter difference. These two box cars are both vintage advertising cars from the 1970's era, sold as shown in the pictures with no original boxes. The price is for both.
