Two hand painted Hutschenreuther Bavarian collectible display plates. Both for one price, one is artist signed! Same shape and same painting, but different colors. Both have a green backstamp w/name, Hutschenreuther, a lion in a circle with LHS under it, then Bavaria Germany. One is also signed in gold: M. Petruno. The backstamp is shown in the 1986 Kovels book of marks, pg. 65, [M]. This mark was used from 1955-1969 by the Jutschenreuther Porcelain Factory, Selb, Bavaria, West Germany, according to the Kovels. These plates have no chips or cracks and make excellent decorative display plates hung on a wall, on a shelf, on the plate rack in a china cabinet, or framed! They are 8 x 8 inches. One has white flowers; other has pink flowers.
