This is a quality made machinist's inside caliper, marked "UNION CALIPER CO. ORANGE MASS.". It measures 3" from the pivot pin to the measuring end. It has a very strong spring, good clean threads, in very good working condition overall! This tool was made before 1916 when the company name was changed to Union Tool Co. at the same location.
