This pressed glass whiskey bottle is in nice condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures 8 1/2" to top of the rim or about 11" with the top on. Base is 3 1/8" square.
Pattern on bottle consists of 4 blocks high and 2 blocks across. Each block has a circle inside with a diamond inside that. The top is also square and has 2 blocks across and 2 blocks high.
Unfortunately, the cork stopper that was attached to the top has come off and will need to be replaced.
Bottom of bottle is marked "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle"
Liquor bottles were required to be embossed with these words after prohibition was lifted. These bottles were made between 1932-1964.
Just to mention, there is some residue or cloudiness in the inside of the bottle about halfway up. It may need to have vinegar sit inside it for a while to help remove the cloudiness.
