This is a vintage Art Deco dress clip made of green bakelite. It has a japanned black leaf on top with blue rhinestones and a japanned black clip with green rhinestones. The clip is marked RIEDMAN (possibly missing the F and is actually FRIEDMAN) and PAT 1801128 which dates to 1931. The bakelite has been tested and is guaranteed. The clip measures 2-1/4 inches by 1-3/4 inches. The clip is in good condition but it appears to a few of the green rhinestones might be darkening or replaced.
