This is a lot of 5 mending kits as follows: Mary McCoy's Beauty Shop Waynesboro PA. Vinyl case-mending supplies never used Better Brushes Party Plan Palmer, Mass. 2 matchbook style never used Welcome Motel Mancos, Colorado marchbook style Unmarked plastic box- needles, buttons, safety pins and lots of thread. CONDITION: All are in good condition with the exception of the Welcome Motel as the heads have deteriorated on the sticks .

This is a lot of 5 Hosiery Mending Kits, 4 from Sunbeam Bread and the 5th from Wonder Bread. Great fifties advertising. The Wonder Bread is dated 1952. CONDITION: Two of the Sunbeam have light wear, all others are in good condition.

Vintage sewing basket filled with notions. The basket looks like a Native American basket. It has a somewhat dark patina and braided grass. It is 4 tall x 8 wide and nice looking. Inside are lots of goodies! First is the wood sock darner; next are 5 vintage needle books; snaps; 4 button packs including a Mermaid Pearls pack; Wiss scissors, Newark NJ; 11 wood thread spools; tape measure and pin cushion. Vintage hand tooled wood box with sewing notions. The box is not a Coates very dry but beautifully made. It does have a split in the wood near the interior back of the box which doesn't show when lid is closed, nor does it affect display or functionality. The box is 9 long x 4 tall x 5.75 deep. Inside are 13 wood thread spools; Sheffield England scissors; pincushion; thimble and some other vintage notions. 1/12dxcs

Beautiful and unique in size - tiny - Sewing basket, Adorned with brass tokens and lovely beads, In excellent condition, Measuring approximately 5 1/4 in diameter.

Vintage wood sewing cabinet stand. I distressed painted it in a pale sage green color although it looks pale blue in the photos. The paint is called Italian Sage, Folk Art brand, water based. If you don't like it you can re-paint it, very easy to do. If you do like it you should put a coat of matte polyurethane over it to retain the finish. It has a lot of old sewing notions on the inside and a little wood tray that fits inside. It stands about 27 inches tall x 14 wide x 11 deep. Good vintage condition. Inside are vintage wood thread spools, patterns, pincushion, needle pack, etc. I have some similiar ones for sale that are not painted. This could also be used in a powder room to store tea towels, etc. instead of as a sewing caddy. 1/11est#3268

Vintage sewing basket. Bottom is marked: Belding Corticelli, Made in Japan. Wood bottom indicating it is vintage since new baskets have cork or plastic bottoms. Nice condition; just one tiny frayed area near top side rim, see pic #8. Inside are 17 vintage wood thread spools; sock darner; wood sewing tool; 2 small tins of buttons/needles; tape measure; 2 thimbles, and neat woven labels still in the package. Vintage barkcloth purse with lucite handle, vintage tin w/notions. The purse was full of sewing notions when purchased so I assume that is what it was made for but could just be a purse. The tin was purchased with purse and it also had sewing stuff in it. You get the sock darner; wood thread spools; Sewing Susan needle package; scissors, thimbles, crochet thread, buttons, etc. The tin was made by Guildcraft, N.Y. 10/10estcs+

Beautiful Antique sewing basket - All original, Made in US, Measuring about 9 1/2 wide x 6 3/4 deep and 4 1/2 inches high.

Large vintage tin w/sewing notions. The tin has round mark on bottom: Olive Can Chicago. It is showing some wear but has a great picture of Irises and a bumble bee on it. These old tins were frequently used as sewing baskets after the food in them was gone. The tin is 10 wide x 2 tall. Inside is an assortment of wood spools, buttons, pin cushions, thimble, needles; and more vintage buttons were just added, plus a bag of buttons!. 6/09brncs+8.09est

Antique Clark's two drawer spool cabinet. c: 1800's. It is in original condition; brass pulls; stenciled name; dove-tailed drawer corners. The wood appears to be cherry. It has some age flaws as expected, but displays fine. Enlarge pics for a better view. These cabinets can be refinished, but since it is not in bad condition you can leave as is if you want. Vintage carved wood sewing caddy filled with sewing notions. Very unique maple? sewing caddy with carved/tooled panels that open out. Inside is an assortment of sewing notions including the vintage wood thread spools, needle packs, pin cushion, scissors, buttons, etc. All the wood thread spools on the holder are included, but not the spool holder itself. Vintage sewing lucite covered basket with handle. I believe the flip top cover is made of lucite. It does have some age crackling. The basket is decorated with owls and it has some velvet trim work. It has a fruit decorated liner. It measures 7 inches square by 6.5 inches high. 2008pdp180

Adorable vintage wood sewing caddy and sewing notions. This is a really neat painted sewing caddy. It is vintage but not antique. The wood/paint on it is very striated indicating age. Looks like a signature of 'wta' or 'rita'; and features two sides that lift up, and painted surface. Inside are some vintage sewing notions including needle packs; thimble, sock darner, thimble, tin w/beads, buttons, wood thread spools, pincushion, etc. There is one spot with paint loss on the side of the caddy. variest2.07

Vintage Lady Pin Cushion in beige silk dress with a chocolate brown bodice and matching chocolate brown Choker necklace with one rhinestone. She is made of plastic. Her eyes are blue. Her head, arms, body, and fingers are all in good shape, she has no chips or cracks.

Sewing basket and assorted sewing notions. Very cute sewing basket featuring a satin top with birds on branches. Not sure of the age of this basket, but I have filled it with vintage goodies! You get a vintage wood sock darner; a cool vintage German needle assortment titled: Royal Brand, Our Club Household Gold Eye Needles, (most of the needles are intact too); next is a vintage metal advertising tape measure from Grand Rapids, MICH. (note the old state abbreviaton: Mich vs. MI), and reads: C.L. Frost and some bias tape, and J a pin cushion; and a tiny pair of sewing scissors. The basket is 4 tall x 8 wide x 8 deep. Plus some extra goodies not shown!

Victorian carved wood sewing caddy and sewing notions. This caddy has painted pansies on it. The pansies are hard to see in the pics because the patina is so darkened with age, but it is quite beautiful up close. It has 2 panels on top that open; there is a small hole in the lid on one side, not sure why that is there but I think it is to run yarn through. This case is 12 long; 9 deep x 11 tall. You also get some nice sewing notions including, crochet thread; wood spools, mending yarn, and more items not shown! This is a great furniture accessory. There are some extra goodies not shown in the pics!

Cute hand painted vintage box and sewing notions. This box is signed SAM. This wood box features two children in winter attire. The box does not appear too old until you look inside! Inside is a floral motif with plastic covering, very similar to my old sewing boxes from the 1930-40's! Good condition and measures 9 wide x 4 high. Included are two cool vintage needle packs, (Happy Home and My Own, as well as embroidery thread; wood thread spools, bias tape, etc. Very unique sewing box! (also added some buttons, thimble, and scissors!)

Vintage Dritz sewing basket assortment. The top has blue and green flowers on it and so does the interior. Purchased from a woman who said she was born in 1930, and this was her basket as a child! It does look pretty old, I was thinking the 50's but she insisted the 1930-40's. I put a lot of extras in this basket too that are not shown in the pics! The bottom of this basket reads: Dritz, Style No. 7063, Japan. The plastic insert is a little beat up, but is taped together, and still holds items as you can see. Included in this basket is a very old pin cushion and thread holder; a metal thimble; an unopened Dritz cover button kit, circa 1985; unopened USA Boltex bias tape; unopened polyester elastic band; Le Chic Japan buttons; unopened USA Wrights Trimtex; Dyno marker; Singer Basting tape unopened; Bugle Beads unopened, large spools of thread, a vintage textile bobbin, and more!

Vintage sewing box and sewing notions. Musical sewing box that has a tray, a chinese pin cushion, (this alone is worth $15), a vintage Sewing Circle Needle Assortment, (some needles are missing); a vintage Peacock needle assortment pack, (Made in Redditch, England by The Star Pin Co., Shelton, Conn.. Note the old State abbreviation on it. Two intact packs of rocaille beads with old price tag; 2 baggies full of snaps and girdle straps; a box of silk threads signed Belding Hemingway Sewing Silks, and additional items. The sewing box itself is in pretty good condition but for missing the exterior hook which the loop is supposed to fit over. You could fix this by putting a U hook into the sewing box. The vintage needle packages sell for quite a bit all by themselves, so this is a great buy!
