Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful old pincushion doll. Marked GERMANY 4347...could be 4847. She is a lovely Spanish Dancer with a fan in her jet black hair. She does have a white dress on but this is hard to pick out next to her ivory skin. Odd, she has blue eyes. She is stitched to a rather large ball. Very old hand stitching. She did come with a cloth dress I will include. Just a piece of fabric rubber banded around her waist. Her cobalt fan in her hair does have two flea bites in it. She may be marked underneath but I am not going to remove her from her ball. She stands about 8 tall. Ball is about 4 1/2 across. This appears to be from around 1900 to 1920. Lovely addition to any collection.
Adorable luster rabbit pincushion. Bunny is sitting amongst brightly colored flowers on the edge of a basket wearing a suit and black shoes. He is playing a horn. 4 3/4 long x 3 tall x 2 3/8 deep. Needs saw dust pillow. Could use as an Easter decoration also.
Offering this wild and funky large pin cushion made from a colorful hot pink batik fabric with gold swirl enhancements; edged in thick hot pink fringe which adds more pizzaz to this pin cushion. Measures about 6 1/2 inches square not including fringe, and is hand made by me. The inner lining is muslin. Very good condition, no holes or stains. I use a fine play sand for the filler which gives the pin cushion weight and stability (weighs 4 1/2 lbs) and also the sand keeps your pins sharp and free from rust. New condition, holes or tears, or stains. Perfect pin cushion for your sewing room - will hold a lot of pins or to set on your vanity to hold safety pins, or your jewelry stick pins!
