More Than McCoy

Manufacturer: Weller Pottery Co.
Weller Pottery pitcher and a redware bowl. The pitcher is marked Weller on bottom. Red clay. It has no chips or cracks and stands 4.25 tall. It has some little dark spots on the interior bottom of pitcher. It is shown in the Weller book. Not sure who made the redware bowl, but it resembles the early Weller utility ware. The bowl is 3.75 tall x 7.25 wide. The interior is discolored; the rim has some old tiny fleabites. The fleabites are smooth; and likely from cracking eggs back in the 20's! The exterior surface also shows age and wear and one long gouge within the clay itself. The bottom has an incised mark but I don't know whose mark it is. Neat old pieces for your redware or Weller collection! 2/15
