    1964-1965 New York World's Fair Unisphere Collector Plate
    This is a 1964-1965 New York World's Fair Collector Plate. The plate measures approximately 6 3/8 in diameter. No cracks, chips, or breaks noted. On the back there is a worn foil label: ©1961 N.Y.W.F. Unisphere presented by USS United States Shop - Made in Japan. This would make a nice addition to your collection or to give as a gift. Please see pictures. Many of the pieces are antique or vintage. Some will have some imperfections from manufacturing process. We try and note any major flaws noted.     1939/40 New York Worlds Fair Theme Building Glass
    This Theme Building souvenir glass is from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair. The 1939-40 New York World's Fair, which covered the 1,216 acres of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park (also the location of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair), was the largest world's fair of all time. Many countries around the world participated in it, and over 44 million people attended its exhibits in two seasons. The NYWF of 1939-1940 was the first exposition to be based on the future, with an opening slogan of Dawn of a New Day, and it allowed all visitors to take a look at the world of tomorrow. With white stars and building it has orange lettering around the base of the glass. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 5 1/4 inches high, 2 3/4 inches across the rim and 2 1/8 inches across the base.     1939/40 Ny World's Fair Souvenir Telegram Western Union
    This Souvenir Telegram was transmitted from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair by the Western Union Telegraph Company known as The Telegraph of Tomorrow. The 1939-40 New York World's Fair, which covered the 1,216 acres of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park (also the location of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair), was the largest world's fair of all time. Many countries around the world participated in it, and over 44 million people attended its exhibits in two seasons. The NYWF of 1939-1940 was the first exposition to be based on the future, with an opening slogan of Dawn of a New Day, and it allowed all visitors to take a look at the world of tomorrow. Western Union was founded in Rochester, New York, in 1851 as The New York and Mississippi Valley Printing Telegraph Company. After a series of acquisitions of competing companies by Hiram Sibley & Don Alonzo Watson the company changed its name to Western Union Telegraph Company in 1856 at the insistence of Ezra Cornell, one of the founders of Cornell University, to signify the joining of telegraph lines from coast to coast. Also with the telegram is the original Souvenir Telegram Form which only cost 25 cents to send! On the original telegram is a picture of a dog and her name underneath Honey Dog. In very good + condition without tears or rips it measures 5 3/4 inches high and 8 inches wide while the form measures 6 1/4 inches high and 8 1/4 inches wide.     1901 Worlds Fair Pan-American Exposition Souvenir Book A souvenir of the Great Pan-American Exposition - Buffalo New York - Nineteen Hundred and One. Views of the 1901 World's Fair exposition and a few views of Buffalo NY and Niagara Falls. Published by the James Bayne Co. 48 pages (46 photo views). Measures 7 inches X 9 inches. Cover is a heavy construction type paper with Silhouette graphics. It is held together by two inside stapels and cord tied through 3 holes. Condition is good - light soil - minor edge roughness - one 1/4 inch rip on bottom front - 2 light corner bends - on back corner has 1/4 inch gone. Spine has a bit of the cover coming loose at top & bottom. Inside pages have light soil but not tears accept for a tiny one on last page. Very nice World's Fair Collectible!

    This milk glass vinegar bottle was produced for the 1939 New York Worlds Fair. The 1939-40 New York World's Fair, which covered the 1,216 acres of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park (also the location of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair), was the largest world's fair of all time. Many countries around the world participated in it, and over 44 million people attended its exhibits in two seasons. The NYWF of 1939-1940 was the first exposition to be based on the future, with an opening slogan of Dawn of a New Day, and it allowed all visitors to take a look at the world of tomorrow. The bottle has a picture of the World and has a band running around the bottle which has several stars, and states 1939 Worlds Fair 1939. It has a metal lid with a hole in the center to dispense the vinegar and I was told they made table lamps from these bottles.     This, never used, zippered white vinyl with blue binding and handle tote bag is marked on the front: New York 1964-1965 Worlds Fair and on the back it is marked: Official Bag / Unisphere Presented by United States Steel / 1961 New York Worlds Fair 1964-1965 Corporation Bearse Manufacturing Co. Newburg, New York-Chicago, Illinois. Showing a beautiful picture of the Unisphere with red and blue lettering on the front the bag. In very good condition having been found stored in it's original plastic bag, it does have some dirt smudges from being stored in an attic all these years which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 10 3/4 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
