Unusual silver plate basket made in a twisted rope design holds a very deep cobalt/purple glass bowl as it's liner. Basket stands on 3 ball feet and still retains nearly all of it's plating. It is marked simply "made in England" on the underside of the handle. The basket is 4 1/4 " wide and stands 5" to top of handle making it a perfect size for passing after dinner mints or nonpareils. These is one small rough spot on the inside of the basket, that's it. |
