This is a vintage Native American sterling silver and turquoise bolo slide. The slide is not marked but has been tested. It appears to be an Old Pawn piece. The slide mechanism is marked BENNETT PAT PEND C-31. The slide has a bezel set turquoise stone which has a lot of matrix in it. There are also some lines but I am not certain whether they are cracks or not. The slide measures 1-1/4 inches long. It has a leaf on one side but the other side has an odd design that I cannot identify. The leather bolo has sterling silver tips with a stamped chevron design on them. The bolo and slide are in good condition but do have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by. |
