This vintage milk white china creamer with black trim was made by the D.E. McNicol Pottery Company and is marked: Genuine China / McNicol China / Clarksburg, VA. / U.S.A. / #63.
When John McNicol died in 1882 and his son, Daniel E. McNicol took over his interests and later on from year to year he bought all the other interests from members of McNicol Burton & Company. In 1892 he organized the D. E. McNicol Pottery Company which was incorporated.
In 1914 a new plant was built by this company at Clarksburg, W. Va., which is operated under the same management.
In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 3 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches spout to handle and 2 1/4 inches wide.
An addition to any Vintage Creamer or McNicol China Collection.
