This is a beautiful 1957 book telling the story of American art and artists, with lots of great pictures. It's a HardCover The cover is discolored somewhat [as you can see by the scan] but the pages are all clean. The cover looks like a heavy linen. Brown spine with gold lettering I understand that this book is Hard to find. No tears~ the only writing is a name on the first page with the date October, 1961
