Shadow Box Vintage 1940s -1950s Impressive Vintage Shadow Box that needs refinishing and the mirror back needs resilvering in spots.Its large and Sturdy. I believe the estate family bought it in the
1940s but it came into the house from which I acquired it in the 1950s. The size is as follows: The outside frame measures: 24 X 30 inches with beautifully mitired corners. The artfully attached Box itself measures: 21 X 27 inches and Shelves are 4 inches deep by 20 inches wide. Its large and beautiful but needs refinishing. The wood appears to be a light grain in areas that I can see. There is a not so good stain job also as shown in photo,there is a blue chalky spot on the top where someone had wanted to perhaps use that color.Free Shipping USA Priority Domestic (2-3 days).

Colonial Desk organizer Antique 1910-20 Turn of the Century Decoupaged Snack Server/Office Desk Organizer/Candle Holder. Might be a Reproduction! Nice for Keys/Mail on a Hall Table. Electricity was not that great about that time and I imagine many doing night work at their desk by Candlelight.
The trays could hold writing supplies and other work essentials. Measures 9 1/4 inches high Without the Candle,and the small tray is
3 1/2 inches wide,Large trays are 5 1/2 inches wide.They used 2 different types of Wood(the Candle holder and Bottom Post are light and the rest is darker.(looks like Tiger Wood).There is a Brass Hook & Eye on the side top which keeps the Unit Closed.Looks like Old Small Piano type hinges on the bottom which allow the trays to flip down.It came from an Estate Sale at a 100 yr.old house.It leans slightly forward,and there is some pink candle wax spots. Queen Anne Mirror Vintage 1925 Queen Anne Mirror which on the rear is written PPG Co.Jan 1925. (PA Power & Gas??)Top mirror etching is Exquisite Basket of Flowers and is smooth to the touch so that means that there is a layer of plain glass over the top of the etching. The aged miror is very foggy and probably needs resilvering. The Plaster at the top needs reconstruction (I have the Pieces)and the whole needs Refinishing and restoration. Sturditoys Tray Hammered Copper and Wood Vintage Very Rare tray from Sturditoys in Costa Mesa,CA which was part of the famous toy company of the same name. I believe only the trays were made in Costa mesa.The tray was with the owner since the 1950s and is in very good shape. The wood is pulling away slightly in one small area of the tray (see photo)but needs only to be glued back down. Mid Century Aluminum Sculptural Bowl No signature, just the # 526 on the bottom. Is it Art Sculpture, or just a Utilitarian bowl? I think both! I do know its 1950s. The lines are so lovely that one doesn't have to put anything in it at all for it to look impressive! Some hardly noticeable pitting. A good metal polish will put this bowl back in the limelight on your coffee table! Not a lightweight but medium heavy.

Doorstop German Shepherd Painted Dog1950 Plaster Paris Doorstop or whatever use that you wish! (Garden or Patio comes to mind) Lifelike modeled plaster of Paris German Shepard reclining. This came from a 1950s collection of knick knacks and the person did not know who painted it, but that it had been in her family's possession since at least the 50s when she was in school. Interesting with Glass eyes and the teeth and tongue.Measures as stated above and has only a few chips and due to the age not that much wear-off of the paint.What appears to be cracks on the bottom across the feet are not really cracks but the modeling the artist did. Brass Lamp Greek key Design Mid-Century Modern Large Brass lamp (with original red wrapped yarn shade if desired)circa 1950-55,Brass needs polishing,but is in very good condition.The label is creased and is hard to read and I don't want to tear it. I thnk it says Bard or Card Creations (see photo),the word California reads good and clear however. It measures as stated without the shade. It has a black wood Flat Bottom with green felt underneath, and the electric wiring is in good shape. The Lamp shade would be easy to freshen (if desired)with new red cotton rug yarn or macrame' cording. The 3/4 inch brass Greek Key strips separate the brass cylinders that make up the base.
