Circa: 1870's Manufacturer: Bryce Bros.
Also known as Granby and Sharp Oval & Diamond, this attractive pattern is originally attributed to Bryce Bros. circa the 1870's and later by U.S. Glass circa 1898 when it became on of the "states" patterns. This hard to find mustard with attached underplate has the original lid and measures 3 1/2" high, 2 1/8" wide at the mouth and the underplate is 4 7/8" wide.
Both the base and lid are in very good condition free of any chips, cracks or stains. There is a little mould roughness that can be felt rather than seen and small slight ash discoloration on the underplate that is not very noticeable unless the piece is on a white background. I was not able to capture this in a photo.
