This attractive pattern is known as Chelsea Grape Lustre with vibrant purple clusters of grapes and leaves over laid with gold lustre. This early coffee pot was produced by Edward Walley of England circa 1845.
The coffee pot measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the finial, 5 1/4" wide and 8 3/4" long handle to spout. the pot is in excellent condtion, free of chips, cracks or hairlines. As can be seen in the photos, there are some chips on the lid which could be professionally repaired. |
