Circa: 1937 Manufacturer: A. H. Heisey & Co.
Heisey began production of the Deco pattern Saturn, #1485 in 1937 and continued until 1953. The Zircon color was produced for only 3 years in the 1930's. An identical color called limelight was produced in the 1950's, but this rose bowl is shown in early pattern examples. The Zircon color is hard to find and this rose bowl is very rare. This piece measures 2 3/4" high and about 4" wide. There is a small flake on the foot of the fire polished ground bottom, otherwise, the piece is clear and free of any cracks or discolorations. |
