Made by Coalport, c. 1900. 10 ¼" d. Blue and white with gold rim and finely scalloped edges. Features Admiral Dewey and border flags denote six ships of the Spanish American War. There are several fine surface scratch marks which you can catch in the light, located on the center surface from below Dewey’s eyebrows to the American flags. Inscription reads "Manila, May 1898."
