Vintage Mercurochrome Bottle Supreme First Aid Co. 1960s. Rubber type stopper with glass dabber and original paper label and some contents, not to be used, but selling as a collectible.
Height 2 1/2 inch X 1 1.2 X 3/4 inch
Mercurochrome was invented in 1919 and generations of mother's applied this non-stinging antiseptic to their children's cuts and scratches. In 1998 the U.S. FDA placed it on its list of "untested" drugs over concerns about mercury poisoning. This bottle dates from the 1960s. Not for use, for collectible purposes only.
