Received, Middletown, 8th Feby. 1781, of the Select Men of the Town of Colebrook: 4 linen shirts, 4 pair woolen stockings, 2 pair mittens and 2 pair shoes. For the use of the Connecticut Line of the Army, which is valued at seven pounds, twelve shillings, State money on Acct. of Elijah Hubbard, S.[tate] Comss., In whom behalf I am, Daniel Pohonnot. Light age toning and wear. Archival tape repair on fold on the reverse. Very desirable Revolutionary War document regarding the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army.
