Daryls Clocks Galore

This very rare United Brown marble color mantel clock is known as the Boy-Girl in Swing Music Box clock made around 1950. This particular clock is LIKE NEW and must have been in a box all these years stored away and the insides and outside looks like the day it was made.

There are no chips or cracks to this beautifully rare unit. The nightlight is working and illuminates the boy and girl on the swing in front of the house. The swing goes back and forth while the clock keeps accurate time.

There is a music box inside the case in the lower left corner. There is a switch on the back of the clock that allows for light only, or for light and music box. To start the music box, this switch must be in the correct position and then you give the knob on the right a spin and the music box electric motor starts operating and keeps operating until you turn off the master switch on the left rear of the clock. It is extremely rare to find any of this model clock to still be fully functional. I think there is one note tine missing from the music box, but it doesn't seem to affect the tune being played at all. I think the tune is 'Hi Ho, Hi Ho, off to work we go'.

The electrical cord is in good condition.

This item will be carefully packed as we do all of our merchandise.
