A well done plate of in motion roadrunner in a desert scene on a turquiose background, the plate is 8-1/2 inches square with the offset knotches in the corners. The back is unglazed which is unusual these pieces. Back is signed Goff & Gaskins Gila arts Globe Arizona. Made in the mid 1960's in Globe Arizona area by Gila Arts.
Gila Arts was an important aspect in the history of the Bob and Charmion McKusick story.
Bob and Charmion leased out the rights to their designs to Bruce Gaskins.
