Derby Blue Feathers cup & saucer Derby Blue Feathers cup & saucer. Porcelain. England. c. 1800 - 1825. This wonderful cup & saucer from the famed Derby factory is beautifully hand painted with what appears to be a feather or stylized leaf design. The feathers are done in cobalt & a lighter shade of blue outlined in gold. Further decoration includes gilt leaves, lines & rings and a medallion of gilt & cobalt in the center of the saucer. All on a white ground. The saucer is deep as was typical for the time. The cup has a loop handle with spurs & thumb rest. CONDITION: Excellent - cup pings; saucer has fine all over crazing; some light wear to gilt in spots. Just gorgeous!

Copeland Pink Grass Demi Cup Copeland pink grass demi cup & saucer. Porcelain. England. c. August 31, 1869. Beautiful & subtle relief molding highlights this lovely mid-nineteenth century demitasse cup. The sole decoration is the raised grasses which are hand painted in shades of pink with a deep rose used as highlighting & shading. This makes a lovely contrast against the cool white ground of the body. The grasses sprout from around the handle. CONDITION: Excellent - some wear to gilt (pings). Very sweet.

Copeland green grass Demitasse c&s Copeland green grass Demitasse c&s. Porcelain. England. c. August 31, 1869. Beautiful & subtle relief molding highlights this lovely mid-nineteenth century cup & saucer. The sole decoration is the raised grasses which are hand painted in vivid shades of green with pale blue highlights & touches of yellow & pink. This makes a lovely contrast against the cool white ground of the body. On the cup the grasses sprout from around the handle. On the saucer, they grow around the saucer well. Unable to capture the exact shades of green in pictures. The green is a bit more green than shown. Other demis available. Also matching lunch set is available in the Sets category. CONDITION: Excellent (some light wear to gilt - pings). Graceful & quite lovely.

Copeland Yellow & Gold demi &s #1 Copeland Yellow & Gold demi cup & saucer. Porcelain. England. c. 1891 - 1920s. This sweet demitasse cup & saucer is a vivid & vibrant yellow with copious amounts of gold. There’s a thick hand painted gold border above a gilt swag design (transfer & by hand). The cup interior is white with a border of hand painted & transfer gold. A gilt transfer & hand painted gold medallion appears on a white ground in the saucer well. Gilt lining on D shaped white cup handle & ring at cup foot.
Imported by Gilman Collamore & Co., New York, NY. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint (pings). Very attractive demi.

Derby Wishbone Handle cup & saucer Derby Wishbone Handle cup & saucer. Porcelain. England. c. 1800 - 1825. This wonderful cup & saucer from the famed Derby factory features a wishbone handle and is beautifully hand painted with stylized feathery leaves in blue, violet & purple (not pinks, as it looks in the pictures - couldn’t quite capture the colors). These colors are painted on top of gilt leaves. Gilt border, double ring around saucer well, ring at cup foot and hand painted gold decoration on the white handle. All on a white ground. The saucer is quite deep as was typical at the time. CONDITION: Excellent (gilt wear). Pings. A very lovely example.

Mulberry Transfer Breakfast Cup & Saucer Hand Painted Mulberry Transfer Breakfast Cup & Saucer. Stoneware. Scotland? c. 19th century. Interesting & unique very large breakfast cup & saucer. Hand painting in blue, maroon, yellow & green over mulberry (purple) transfer. Pattern depicts what seems to be an "Oriental" country scene of 2 figures w/mountains in the background; floral border. The colors are deeper than photos could show. Cup measures 3.5" high & 5.25" wide including handle; saucer is 1.5" deep & 7" in diameter. CONDITION: Fair / Good (pieces ring) crazed, some rubbing to transfer in spots, some staining.

Pink luster edges and rings and leaves. White cup interior & foot, center flower inside cup. Deep saucer, no well indentation, well area is white with pink luster rings. Bottom of saucer marked "130" hand painted in pink luster. CONDITION: Good (light crazing, medium/heavy wear on cup’s luster trim)
