Shelley mauve Footed Oleander cup & saucer. Porcelain. England. c. 1940s. Absolutely fabulous! The shape is Footed Oleander. Cup & saucer are both relief molded in the form of the petals of an oleander flower. The pattern has the Summer Glory transfer with flowers in pink, purple, blue & white; green leaves & gray leaves on a pink ground inside cup. Colored pale mauve on cup exterior and all over saucer. Liquid burnished gold edges, solid handle & foot. Just wonderful. CONDITION: Excellent/Mint (pings). A wonderful addition to any Shelley or chintz collection! |
