Wileman Snow Drop Cameo trio in mauve & beige. Porcelain. England. c. 1896. Very graceful set with a Victorian feel. One of the first patterns applied to this cup shape. Mauve & beige transfer of cameo panels, pedestals & garlands on white ground. Liquid gold edges & lining on handle. The cup is deeply fluted. The saucer & plate are deeply scalloped. Plate is approximately 7". Just a wonderful trio. CONDITION: Excellent (tiny bit of wear to gilt). All pieces ping. A wonderful addition to any Shelley or Wileman collection. |
