A fine example of Dhokra or Bell Metal sculpture work from Eastern/Central India produced by the Bastar Tribes
Using the lost wax method she was made by sculpting very fine wax coils around a clay base and then cast in bell metal. Bell metal is a mixture of up to 5 metal alloys including brass, gold and bronze.
