Interesting millefiori paperweight on a rich green translucent ground. The central signature ("PP") cane is surrounded by concentric rows of red and white canes and the periphery has radial ribbons alternating with doublets of small canes. Diameter: ~2½". Phoenix Paperweights recently opened in Scotland under the direction of William Manson, subsequent to the closure of Perthshire Paperweights in early 2002. This first edition paperweight (FP10) was made in a Limited Edition of 75 is signed on its base (Phoenix 2002; 13/75). |
