This baroque shaped platter (or bowl) is deeply scalloped and gilded on its edge. It depicts a Swiss scene, with a chalet, mountains and trees in the distance and has a fence and flowers in the foreground. Has some fine (unobjectionable) crazing. Nice piece of scenic flow blue. Marked: T.R. & Co. (for T. Rathbone & Co.), circa 1898. 13¾"(L); 9¾"(W); 2½"(H). This was hard to photograph and the bowl is a bit lighter than on the images presented here.
