These rare antique tongs, with ornate feather-claw ends, are in the extremely attractive engraved Empress pattern. They are in very fine condition and show only gentle use. Issued in 1880 by designer George Wilkinson and marked with a Gorham Manufacturing Co. hallmark (lion, anchor and G), sterling and Patent 1880. Length: ~5¾ inches. |
