Early Whitefriars multi-faceted paperweight with 5 panels of complex canes that are separated by latticino spokes, which radiate from a single row of concentric canes. This paperweight has 4 rows of small facets surrounding a single top facet. Because of these facets, it is difficult to photograph and it is much more attractive than it appears in these photos. The paperweight has a dark cobalt ground, signature (friar)/date cane, and original paper label. Diameter: ~3". |
