Here’s a nicely detailed outline of a donkey’s head, set upon two horse-shoe shapes to make a lapel or hat pin.
We've been told these were produced for the Democratic party by the Gulf Oil Co. in the 1960s. In fact, the logo for Gulf is imprinted on the small cardboard which holds the pin.
The pin is about .75-inch diameter and in Very Good condition with no apparent defects.
