This is a simple but oh so elegant Victorian fan. This dates again from about 1890. The guards and sticks look to be ivory. There is no decoration on either the sticks or the guards. The focus is on the satin with its painted florals. The painting is done in very muted tones of white, green and lavender. The fan measures 13 inches long and 25 inches when opened. The fan is in excellent condition with no tears or holes. The material has come unglued in one spot on just one of the guards. This is just a beautiful fan and a great addition to any collection.
