Circa: 1950's 1960's Manufacturer: Whiting & David
This is a silver Whiting & Davis Mesh Bag in beautiful condition. I am guessing that it is from the 1950's or 1960's. The frame is marked Whiting & Davis Made in USA and it is numbered on the frame #2865. The frame has a scalloped edge with a simple clasp. The silver of the mesh is bright and shiney. There is a short chain handle that measures 4 inches from the frame. The lining is original and intact. The bag mesures 3 3/4 inches across the top of the frame and 5 inches wide at the bottom of the mesh. It measures 4 1/4 inches long from the top of the frame to the bottom of the mesh. This makes a perfect party or evening bag for prom, wedding or dinner out.
