Here's a wonderful black velvet turbin hat straight out of the 1930's. Created by Suzy et Paulette Chapeaux, Paris and Chicago, this hat is as stylish today as it was then. Not only that but it's perfect for those "bad hair days" when you just want to tuck your hair into a great hat and hide it away. The turbin measures 20 1/2 inches around the inside. The turbin is sewn into place with 2 "ties" in the back. An art deco rhinestone and black plastic hat pin adds to the illusion of a tied turbin. Inside is the Suzy et Paulette Chapeaux Label with Paris and Chicago. The turbin is in wonderful shape and will add to any hat collectors collection.
