Rare Mad magazine Vol. 1, issue #49 from 1959. Overstreet price guide lists this magazine in near mint condition for $175.00! This is the December issue from 1959 with Alfred E. Neuman with a block of ice. It has very funny articles and comics skewering politics, popular TV shows, celebrities and movies of the time. Interior is in very fine condition with only slight age discoloration and corner wear. Cover is in good condition but is separated from the magazine, with some staple rust and edge wear in the spine and corners. This is a very rare and hard to find issue for the early Mad magazine fan!
