Beautiful Antique Small Gold Gilded Heavy Metal Jewel Box. The Box has a hinged lid, which my husband thinks has been repaired at some period in time, with a metal piece through the hinges on the lid. The pansy on the top is detailed and lovely, with pansy buds and leaves also. The pansies and leaves are all around the outside of the box also.I think it has possibly been re-gilded, thoug certainly not recently. The box is 5 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches long and 4 1/2 inches tall. There are 4 little curved feet. |
