Type: Vintage Bead Bag Purse Double Compartment
Vintage bag which is quite unusual, as the beads are on the outside and the inside of the purse. I think the beads are a plastic resin material, and two parts of the outer insides of the bag are beads, and the inner part of the bag is black grossgrain. It has a carrying handle which is studded with the black beads, (some are missing and is sold as is) and a double twist acorn type closure. The two outer (spines)parts of the bag are black, and the middle part (spine) is goldtone. When the bag is closed it has a great 3 tone effect. Some of the black beads are missing as is often the case in vintage pieces, but it does not look 'tatty'. The bag is 11 inches wide and 9 inches tall by 3 inches deep with a inch drop. There is an inner pocket for a powder compact. |
