Antique pair of brass candle holders, which are probably Victorian/Edwardian... from England. I have owned these for 40 years, and they were purchased in an antique shop in Berkshire England. They measure approximately 8 inches high by 4 inches across at the base. They are weighted and show some wear, which considering the age they must be is hardly surprizing.. There are a couple of dings which I have tried to show in the pictures, and they are unusual in that the base is rounded and kind of bulbous not square as most were. They are really nice, and could use a loving polish! |
