This heart shaped vintage sweetheart plate measures 7 3/4 inches across. There are no chips, there is a 5 in hairline crack across the back, not noticeable form the front and priced accordingly. There are two holes in the back to place a string or wire for hanging the plate for display. The poem on the front reads: "SWEETHEART - I thought that you would like to know that some one's thoughts go were you go; that some one never can forget the hours we spent since first we met. that life is richer sweeter far For such a sweetheart as you are And now my constant prayer will be that God may keep you safe for me." Hand painted with gold guilt edges. |
