Original Wallace Nutting hand-tinted photo print titled Berkshire Brook. A well-known Congregational minister turned photographer, antiquarian, and entrepreneur, Nutting was a man of few words when it came to the vices of his time, but many in describing the virtues of the past.
9 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches matted and framed wood frame. Print titled underneath in lower left: Berkshire Brook and signed in lower right: WALLACE NUTTING. Nutting was known for his hand-tinted photographs, dating from 1900 to 1941.

The frame (there is a 3/4 inch chip in the wood frame on the bottom edge. and photo are in very good vintage condition. The print is not faded. |
