This is a nice clean old multi-size adjustable hollow auger, and includes the adjustable depth stop clamp, and an adjustable cutter. . This is the earlier E.C. Stearns patented model, although their name stamp is somewhat filled in with old black Japanning. (I did try to take a photo, it does read "STEARNS" and some other lettering). This is a good quality sizing tool with an eight position adjustable guide, a good sharp cutter with plenty of length, about 60% of the original Japanning intact, no rust or pitting, no cracks, good hardware, all threads are in great shape. A nice clean woodworking tool overall, ready to use! |
