Offering this nice Stanley No. 36 adjustable cast steel Plumb & Level in good++ condition. It's 12" long. All three glass sights are in good working order. The Japanning is about 90% original, and look nice and shiney. There is no rust on the bare metal, but there is some very minor pitting in a few tiny places. A nice well kept level overall! It is marked "STANLEY NO. 36" in raised cast lettering. This one is also marked with the patent date in raise lettering "PAT'D 8-4 & 6-23.98" This is a pre-1935 type as it doesn't have the rotating vial covers which began production in 1935. |
